If you're looking to grow your career within a stable and growing financial services company, then Sagicor may be right for you!"Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited Is Seeking a Suitable Candidate To Join Our Group Insurance Services (Administration) Team In The Capacity Of Maintenance Clerk - Returned Cheques (6-Month Contract) Process the rejected claims payments for clients within the Employee Benefits Department, ensuring that procedures are adhered to and requests are dealt with promptly, efficiently and courteously. Location: Kingston As a Maintenance Clerk - Returned Cheques, You Will Advise Group Insurance Administrators by electronic mail of their c lients whose claims payment by Electronic Fund Transfer was rejected and request updated information to enable reprocessing of the payment. Contact clients to notify them of the return/ rejected payments and request written correspondence with the correct information. Forward to the responsible person(s) in the Finance Department the request with the correct information for the processing of the claim payments whether by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or by cheques. Prepare monthly reports for submission to immediate supervisor as requested. Perform other related duties assigned from time to time. What do you need? A minimum of six (6) subjects at the GCE (Ordinary) or CSEC (General Proficiency) level, including English Language and Mathematics. A Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies, Business Administration or equivalent area of study from a recognized tertiary institution would be an asset. Two (2) years’ working experience in the Life insurance industry. Sound knowledge of Group Life and Health Insurance policy contracts. Working knowledge of basic accounting. Excellent human relations and communication skills. Expert knowledge of personal computing application software packages, including spreadsheet and word processing applications.
