If you're looking to grow your career within a stable and growing financial services company, then Sagicor may be right for you!"Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Group Human Resources team in the capacity of: Learning & Development Officer – Field Force Design, develop and deliver training and development programmes aimed at improving/ expanding the knowledge, skills and attitudes of the field force and administrative team. Location: Kingston As a Learning & Development Officer, You Will Conduct, present and facilitate in-house training sessions for our field force team, as well as some joint sessions for the administrative and upload course material to the Unit’s web-site. Identify, evaluate and recommend the use of external providers and monitor the quality of the presentations. Design, adapt and/ or update a wide range of training courses, seminars and workshops for field force team and submit them to the Manager of Group Learning and Development, for approval. Train Branch and Unit Managers to conduct micro level on-the-job training for their respective Financial Advisors, including the development of the appropriate procedural manuals. Design, adapt and/ or update course evaluation systems and conduct evaluations, including an impact assessments following the completion of courses. Design, adapt and/ or update instructional materials for the field force training as well as some joint training sessions with the administrative team. Assist with the design and implementation of formal and informal training needs analyses. Assist with evaluating and making recommendations for enhancements to computer technology that will provide support to the field and administrative team. Assist with the development and execution of development programmes. Perform other related duties assigned from time to time. What do you need? Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Social Sciences, or Education from a recognized tertiary institution. Teacher training, or certification in training from a recognized tertiary institution. Certification in Sales or Marketing. At least three (3) years’ working experience in training and/ or adult education. Experience in sales or marketing. Good knowledge of curriculum development, instructional methods and training evaluation techniques. Proficiency in computer software packages such as word processing and spreadsheet applications. Knowledge of individual and group insurance products. Excellent inter-personal and communication skills. Good research and analytical skills. Excellent planning and organizational skills.
