If you're looking to grow your career within a stable and growing financial services company, then Sagicor may be right for you!"Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Group Human Resources team in the capacity of: Learning & Development Officer – Administration Design, develop and deliver training and development programmes aimed at improving/ expanding the knowledge, skills and attitudes of the administrative team, and assist with related queries in a timely manner. Location: Kingston As a Learning & Development Officer, You Will Conduct, present and facilitate in-house training sessions for our administrative team, and upload course material to the Unit’s website. Identify, evaluate and recommend the use of external providers and monitor the quality of the presentations. Design, adapt and/ or update a wide range of training courses, seminars and workshops for all levels of the administrative team. Manage the Education Assistance programme and our internal Development programme; SagicorLEAD. Process the enrolment of the administrative team in exceptional professional courses n areas such as FLMI, Accounting, Computing and Underwriting. Monitor the number of sittings and exam results to ensure adherence to company policy, as well as accurate payroll deduction. Design, adapt and/ or update course evaluation systems and conduct evaluation, including an impact assessment once the course is completed. Design, adapt and/or update instructional materials for the administrative team trainings. Assist with the design and implementation of formal and informal training needs analyses. Assist with the development and execution of development programmes Perform other related duties assigned from time to time. What do you need? Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Social Sciences, or Education from a recognized tertiary institution. Teacher training, or certification in training from a recognized tertiary institution. At least three (3) years’ working experience in training and/ or adult education. Completion of LOMA 280 and 290. Good knowledge of curriculum development, instructional methods and training evaluation techniques. Proficiency in the use of computer software packages such as word processing and spreadsheet applications. Excellent organizational, inter-personal, oral and written communication skills. Good negotiating skills. Good research and analytical skills. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Knowledge of Sagicor Life products and practices.
